Four Ways to Add a Pop of Color to Your Easter Outfit

Adding a pop of color to your outfit doesn't have to be complicated. Our founder and owner Tiffany Haas LOVES color. She doesn't shy away from it, and we don't think you should either. Trying to get involved in color can be tricky, so we're here to guide you. We've got four different, but simple ways you can add color to your look. If you're feeling particularly daring, you can add them all. The choice is yours!

  1. A Cardigan

One of the simplest ways to add color to your outfit is layers. Easter in spring can mean you will face just about every type of weather. Add a pop of color with a cardigan like this one from Topshop. We love it because it's pink! But, the cropped style as well. It looks very chic over a dress. If you don't want to carry it around as security in case it's chillier than expected and incorporate it into your Easter outfit you can do that too. The shorter style works brilliantly with skirts! Don't be afraid to mix it with some other bright colors as well!

  1. Shoes

More than likely you are going to want a super fantastic heel to wear with your outfit and we don't blame you! Incorporate some color into your look with a brightly colored pair of shoes. It's very subtle but adds a lot of fun. When choosing a color, you can't go wrong. Either pick one that matches the rest of your outfit or go with something on the opposite end of the color wheel. Yellow works with purples, blue is excellent is with orange and pink pairs with teal. You can snap up these shoes from Macy's. The strap-y look will work well into the summer as well!

  1. A Scarf

We encourage you to use a scarf a couple of different ways. Sure, you can go the traditional route by tying it around your neck for a very chic 60's look that is very in style right now, or you can try these suggestions. First, use it as an alternative to a belt. A-line or full skirts can pair well with a brightly colored scarf for a fun and playful way to add color. Tie it in a simple knot or a bowl. The choice is yours. Want to add color but aren't too keen about wearing it? The scarf is your answer! We like using it as an adornment on our handbag. No need to get fancy with tying it. Just a simple knot and let the ends hang long!

  1. Lipstick

Anyone who isn't afraid of being bold with their makeup choices should try a bright lipstick. No need to match lipstick here. Let your choice speak for itself. We do however recommend keeping the rest of the makeup simple. Use your favorite foundation and concealer to achieve a flawless complexion. Eyes should have a light dusting of shadow that is similar to your skin tone. Finish it off with a strong brow. The cheeks should be simple too with a light sweep of your favorite bronzer for a luscious glow. Finally, choose a lipstick with some staying power like FullBeat's lip stay. It lasts up to 18 hours with just one application. The perfect partner for a holiday full of delicious food!
